Inspired by observational studies of plants and flowers that are then filtered into an imaginary landscape. A landscape cluttered with my thoughts, emotions, hopes, and fears, which sprout into buds and expend into seed pods.
A combination of watercolor, acrylic, collage and pastels, the layers create texture and depth. There is an ebb and flow of materials working to hide and expose the layers beneath.
